Description
Strutmasters 2012-2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Front OE Replacement Magnetic Strut (SMST179) is an OES front left magnetic strut for the 2012-2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque (L538). This magnetically controlled strut from Strutmasters is a direct OE replacement. The monotube damper is filled with magnetorheological fluid which is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil containing iron particles that are easily magnetized. The shock absorber includes an electromagnetic coil which, when turned on, causes the magnetized iron particles to act in a way that changes the effective viscosity and stiffness of the suspension when turned on. Strutmasters new universal magnetic ride Range Rover Evoque front strut fits the left side and connects to the vehicles ECU with no modifications.
