The Lexus GX 470 Sport Utility Vehicles came equipped from the factory with an air suspension system, supplemented by a pair of electronic shocks in the rear of the vehicle. Leaks in the rubber portion of the air springs cause the tiny onboard air compressor to work overtime and eventually fail. Plus age, mileage and normal wear and tear cause the electronic shock absorbers to stop doing their job of providing a nice, smooth ride. Instead of paying thousands of dollars chasing original equipment components and trusting electronics that are decades old, Strutmasters invented a better way to solve the problem. Our suspension conversion system eliminates the need for all those electronics (many of which are impossible to find) and replaces the rubber air springs with a pair of our Premium Steel Coil Springs. We add a pair of passive shock absorbers tuned just for your vehicle. Plus, this product includes a pair of fully assembled front struts with new premium coil Springs designed to take the place of the worn-out OE units currently on the vehicle. All of our kits come with detailed instructions to ensure a smooth installation. This kit also includes new front camber bolts to help align the vehicle after the conversion is installed.
